Where to start? For me a job in the Penguin design department would be the holy grail of all jobs, much like an actor's dream would be to win an oscar.Penguin do the most beautiful book design and there is such a history and magnitude of these beautiful books that it is impossible to chose an example of this beauty. I have nevertheless tried and below are a few of my own lovely favourites.
Read more about Penguin here. I have also discovered that Penguin hold an annual design award competition, top prize £1000 and a work placement. This year's brief is 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and I think I might just give it a go!
